The unwanted piece

So, I haven't been doing as much painting the past little but because I just moved into a different house last weekend. I have an actual garage now and adequate space to paint and do what I do! I started painting a few pieces before I found my camera so I didn't get a before and after pictures.

The TV console was so now what I was expecting when I saw the picture of it before I bought it. I thought it was real wood and it isn't. I think it used to be like a hutch or something because you could tell they cut (very badly) something off the top sides of it. But it was only $10 so I thought I could do something with it even though I just wanted to get rid of it as soon as I got it! Its not completely done, I need to finish painting a few spots and I need to figure out a top (im open to suggestions!). I was planning on keeping it but now I don't think it will match my décor.

The bookshelf is something that was given to me a few years ago and I spray painted it (Yikes!) and it looked horrible from the beginning. I just have been using it to store my décor in my spare bedroom. But I figured I would just repaint it before I moved it in the house so I would actually do it. I primed it but don't know what color to paint it??

Office Chair

This is a old office chair that I got from DI. It was in good condition, no rips or big scratches and was a way good price so I picked it up. I've had it for maybe a month without painting it, I thought it was alright how it was. But, I got on one of my painting kicks and decided to paint it. I just used the vanilla paint that I used on the claw foot coffee table. I distressed it and used a stain, I really liked how it turned out! As with all my other pieces, I can't decide if I should keep it or sell it! I need to figure out how to show more of the detail through my camera, the stain on the chair is a lot darker than it shows in the picture.

Claw foot table

So this is my latest piece I think the table is so pretty! It is hand carved claw foot coffee table. I painted it a vanilla color and distressed it a little. I wasn't sure about the brown stained glass that it came with, but after I thought about it I think its better to keep the original parts as much as possible.

First official sale!

So today I sold my first piece!! I am officially making money off of what I love to do! I wish I would have remembered to take a picture before it was painted, but I always forget. But here is the after product! Side note, I think I need to find a backdrop for when I take pictures!
